जब क्रिया के अंत में ‘गा/गे/गी’ हो और वाक्य के भाव से स्पष्ट हो कि दी गई स्थिति भविष्य में स्थाई रूप से बनी रहेगी, तब shall be/will be का प्रयोग होगा, जैसा कि आप नीचे दिए गए उदाहरणों में पाएँगे।

सामान्यतया /We के साथ shall be तथा अन्य सभी Subjects के साथ will be का प्रयोग किया जाता है।

2nd Person	You will be happy. तुम खुश रहोगे।	You will be happy.  तुमलोग खुश रहोगे।
3rd Person	He She It             will be happy. Ram वह/राम खुश रहेगा/रहेगी।	They will be happy. वे लोग खुश रहेंगे। The boys will be happy.

1. मैं खुश रहूँगा। I shall be happy.
2. हमलोग उपस्थित रहेंगे। We shall be present.
3. तुम अनुपस्थित रहोगे। You will be absent.
4. वह धनी रहेगा। He will be rich.
5. वह महान् बनेगा। He will be great.
6. वह दुःखी रहेगी। She will be sad.
7. वे लोग थके रहेंगे। They will be tired.
8. वह एक नेता बनेगा। He will be a leader.
9. मैं एक डॉक्टर बनूंगा। I shall be a doctor.
10. सीता नर्स बनेगी। Sita will be a nurse.
11. वे लोग किसान बनेंगे। They will be farmers.

Use of Shall be and Will be in Negative Sentences

shall/will के बाद not लगाएँ।

1. मैं तैयार नहीं रहूँगा। I shall not be ready.
2. वह महान् नहीं होगा  He will not be great.
3. सीता परेशान नहीं रहेगी। Sita will not be troubled.
4. वे लोग भूखे नहीं रहेंगे। They will not be hungry.
5. हमलोग उपस्थित नहीं रहेंगे। We shall not be present.
6. वह एक डॉक्टर नहीं बनेगा। He will not be a doctor.
7. मैं एक किसान नहीं बनूंगा। I shall not be a farmer.

Use of Shall be and Will be in Interrogative Sentences

प्रश्नवाचक वाक्यों के शुरू में जब ‘क्या’ लगा रहे, तब आप अनुवाद की शुरुआत Shall/Will से करें।

1. क्या मैं परेशान रहूँगा? Shall I be troubled?
2. क्या राम तैयार रहेगा? Will Ram be ready?
3. क्या वे लोग थके रहेंगे? Will they be tired?
4. क्या तुम महान् बनोगे? Will you be great?
5. क्या वे लोग नेता बनेंगे? | Will they be leaders?
6. क्या तुम एक अभियंता बनोगे? Will you be an engineer?

Note: ‘प्रतिज्ञा’ या ‘दृढ़-निश्चय’ का भाव दिखाने के लिए I/We के साथ will तथा You/He/She/It/They के साथ shall का प्रयोग किया जाता है। यदि हिंदी के वाक्यों में आप कर्ता के बाद अवश्य’ लिखा देखें, तो समझे कि इनमें प्रतिज्ञा/दृढ़ निश्चय का भाव है और तब First Person के साथ will तथा Second/Third Person के साथ shall का प्रयोग वांछित होगा।

1. मैं अवश्य तैयार रहूँगा। I will be ready.
2. वे लोग अवश्य तैयार रहेंगे। They shall be ready.
3. तुम अवश्य एक नेता बनोगे। You shall be a leader.

1. Difference Between Shall Be and Will Be

Hints:

• Shall → पहले व्यक्ति (I, We) के लिए formal/official contexts
• Will → सभी subjects के लिए सामान्य future statements

2. Structure of Sentences

Affirmative (सकारात्मक वाक्य):

• Subject + shall/will + be + adjective/noun/verb-ing
  • I shall be ready by 6 PM. → मैं 6 बजे तक तैयार रहूँगा।
  • They will be studying in the library. → वे लाइब्रेरी में पढ़ रहे होंगे।

Negative (नकारात्मक वाक्य):

• Subject + shall/will + not + be + adjective/noun/verb-ing
  • I shall not be late. → मैं देर से नहीं पहुँचूँगा।
  • She will not be at home tomorrow. → वह कल घर पर नहीं होगी।

Interrogative (प्रश्नवाचक वाक्य):

• Shall/Will + subject + be + adjective/noun/verb-ing?
  • Shall I be there on time? → क्या मैं समय पर वहाँ रहूँगा?
  • Will they be able to finish the work? → क्या वे काम पूरा करने में सक्षम होंगे?

1. I shall be happy to meet you. → मैं आपसे मिलने के लिए खुश रहूँगा।
2. We shall be attending the meeting tomorrow. → हम कल मीटिंग में शामिल होंगे।
3. He will be the winner of the competition. → वह प्रतियोगिता का विजेता होगा।
4. She will be staying at her friend’s house. → वह अपने दोस्त के घर पर रहेगी।
5. You will be surprised to see the result. → परिणाम देखकर आप आश्चर्यचकित होंगे।
6. They will be working on the project next week. → वे अगले सप्ताह परियोजना पर काम कर रहे होंगे।
