Those agents who have been involved in this business for over five years will be allowed to sell tickets.

Railway department will help such agents with computers and reservation slips. The rail agents will be entitled to have a percentage of commission based on the price of per ticket.

As per the railways department, for sleeper class and second seating you will have to shell out Rs 30 while you can avail this facility by paying a minimal charge of Rs 40 for other class.

However, these facility centres will only be opened after an hour of the opening of railway station counters. During week days you can avail the facility between 9 am and 10 pm.

You can also book tatkal tickets through such reservation centres. Tatkal booking at such centres will, however, start at 11am instead of 10 am .

Indian Railways have issued strict guidelines for travel agents in order to avoid fraudulence and misuse of this facility.
