Elimination of Stoppages for Special trains (notified by Railway Board from 01.06.2025) in the State of Kerala<\/strong><\/p>\n

Based on the request by the Government of Kerala and as approved and directed by Railway Board, in view of COVID pandemic the following stoppages have been eliminated for the special trains notified to run from 1st June, 2025 in the State of Kerala:<\/p>\n

1. The service of Train No.02076 Thiruvananthapuram -Kozhikkode Janshatabdi Special<\/strong> will not have stoppages at Aluva, Sherthalai, Kayamkulam and Varkala Sivagiri<\/p>\n

2. The service of Train No.02075 Kozhikkode \u2013 Trivandrum Janshatabdi Special<\/strong> will not have stoppages at Aluva, Sherthalai, Kayamkulam and Varkala Sivagiri .<\/p>\n

3. The service of Train No.02082 Thiruvananthapuram \u2013 Kannur Janshatabdi<\/strong> Special<\/strong> will not have stoppages at Thalassery, Vadakara, Mavelikkara and Kayamkulam.<\/p>\n

4. The service of Train No.02081 Kannur \u2013 Thiruvananthapuram Janshatabdi Special<\/strong> will not have stoppages at Thalassery, Vadakara, Mavelikkara and Kayamkulam.<\/p>\n

5. The service of Train No.06346 Thiruvananthapuram Central \u2013 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus<\/strong> daily special<\/strong> will not have stoppage at Varkala Shivagiri, Karunagapalli, Kayankulam, Haripad, Shertalai, Aluva, Divine Nagar, Kuttipuram, Tirur, Parappanangadi, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannapuram, Payyanur and Kanhangad.<\/p>\n

6. The service of Train No.06345 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus \u2013 Thiruvananthapuram Central<\/strong> daily special<\/strong> will not have stoppage at Varkala Shivagiri, Karunagapalli, Kayankulam, Haripad, Shertalai, Aluva, Divine Nagar, Kuttipuram, Tirur, Parappanangadi, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannapuram, Payyanur and Kanhangad.<\/p>\n

7. The service of Train No.02617 Ernakulam Jn. \u2013 Hazrat Nizamuddin<\/strong> daily superfast<\/strong> special will not have stoppage at Aluva, Pattambi, Kuttipuram, Parappanangadi, Ferok, Quilandi, Vadakara, Thalassery, Payyanur, Nileshwar and Kanhangad.<\/p>\n

8. The service of Train No.02618 Hazrat Nizamuddin \u2013 Ernakulam Jn.<\/strong> daily superfast special<\/strong> will not have stoppage at Aluva, Pattambi, Kuttipuram, Parappanangadi, Ferok, Quilandi, Vadakara, Thalassery, Payyanur, Nileshwar, Kanhangad.<\/p>\n

All other scheduled stoppages for the above trains as notified by Railway board earlier will hold good.<\/strong><\/p>\n

No stoppages have been eliminated for the services of Train No.02283\/02284 Ernakulam- Nizamuddin Non- AC Duronto Special trains.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Full refund will be arranged for passengers who have booked journey from\/ to the stations eliminated, on cancellation of tickets.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Here are the official Railway Board\u2013notified eliminations of stoppages<\/strong> for COVID\u2011era special trains operating in Kerala<\/strong>, effective from 1 June 2025<\/strong> (note: there is no record of a 2025 version, so this appears to be the most recent directive). Eliminations were implemented as part of pandemic safety protocols.<\/p>\n

This specific directive from the Railway Board did not appear to have been formally updated or re-issued in 2025.<\/p>\n
