{"id":7044,"date":"2025-08-06T12:33:02","date_gmt":"2025-08-06T12:33:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/railtravels.org\/?p=7044"},"modified":"2025-08-06T12:33:02","modified_gmt":"2025-08-06T12:33:02","slug":"salient-features-of-the-internship-programme-in-railway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.reilsolar.com\/train\/salient-features-of-the-internship-programme-in-railway\/","title":{"rendered":"SALIENT FEATURES OF THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME IN RAILWAY"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p><strong>SALIENT FEATURES OF THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME IN RAILWAY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>SALIENT FEATURES OF THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME IN EAST COAST RAILWAY TERMS &amp; CONDITIONS OF INTERNSHIP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The internship is neither a job nor any such assurance for a job in the Indian Railway<\/strong>s.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Maximum duration of the internship will be 2 months.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Location of internship shall be the prerogative of the administration.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>No remuneration is payable during the internship.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Boarding and lodging arrangements will be borne by the interns themselves.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Interested and eligible students who are pursuing Graduation\/Post Graduation in Engineering &amp; MBA can pursue internship in following disciplines.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>a) Civil<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>b) Electrical<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>c) Mechanical<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>d) Electronics<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>e) Computer Science\/IT<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>f) Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Logistics, Materials Management, Project Management and other technical matters pertaining to Railways.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Selection criteria: Selection for internship will be based on merit only.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Students pursuing undergraduate course in Engineering should have completed at least two years of study in Degree and should have a consistently good academic record.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Students pursuing MBA should have obtained a First Class Graduate Degree and should have successfully completed one year of the course.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>All interested and eligible students are requested to apply through online internship portal only. All communications regarding allotment\/rejection will be made through e-mail only.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Following documents (Self attested) are required to be uploaded in the porta<\/strong>l.<br \/>\n<strong>a) Covering \/Forwarding letter from the HOD.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>b) Duly filled in Annexure-II (Application for the Internship Programme)<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>c) CV<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>d) Identity Card issued by the Institute.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>On selection, students are required to produce hard copies of the uploaded documents for verification.
