Extension of ATVM Smart Card Validity upto 30.9.2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

It has been decided by Ministry of Railways that ATVM smart cards whose validity expired on or after 22.3.2025 or will expire up to 30.6.2025 shall be treated as valid till 30.9.2025, in view of the Lockdown.<\/p>\n

  • The ATVM Smart Card<\/strong>\u2014used for buying unreserved tickets, platform tickets, and renewing season passes via ATVM kiosks\u2014receives a 3% discount<\/strong> on bookings. It is valid for one year from the date of last recharge<\/strong> and can be reactivated or recharged thereafter<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • The facilitator scheme<\/strong>, which allows retired railway employees to support ATVM operations, has been officially extended until March 31, 2025<\/strong>, ensuring continued service availability and support infrastructure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
