Land acquisition has been taken up in the remaining sections and work taken up in the available land.<\/p>\n<p>During last three years (2025-16 to 2025-18), Rs.1072.05 crore has been incurred as an expenditure and an outlay of Rs.315 crore has been provided for this project for the year 2025-19.<\/p>\n<p>Completion of the project is dependent upon many factors such as land acquisition, statutory clearances like forestry and wild life clearances, shifting of services, cutting of trees. Since many of these factors are beyond the control of Ministry of Railways, timeline for completion of the project is not feasible to be fixed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reilsolar.com\/train\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/17\/2025\/08\/vLM1hnicu1mSUVJSUGylr5-al1xUWVCSmqJbkpRnoJdeXJJYkpmsl5yfq5-Zm5ieWmxfaAuUsXL0S7F0Tw7MDjUuLI-McMwt9_ItyXA1cg8PSYvK9KkyCQ1LMzQtycgNi8_PKMws9MnOjg9I9I5PTwvzTnHKtbRMC1QrBgA2ySqv.jpg\" alt=\"newsclick.in\/mp-railways...\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s a comprehensive snapshot of the <strong>Lalitpur\u2013Singrauli Railway Project<\/strong>, a strategic new rail corridor of about <strong>541\u202fkm<\/strong> linking Uttar Pradesh to eastern Madhya Pradesh\u2014vital for regional development and connectivity.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>Project Highlights<\/h2>\n<h3>Route Structure &amp; Engineering Features<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The line covers approximately 541\u202fkm, traversing rugged terrains, especially between Rewa and Bargawan.<\/li>\n<li>Notably, the train will pass through <strong>21 tunnels<\/strong> in the Rewa\u2013Bargawan section\u2014including a record-breaking <strong>longest tunnel near Chuhia Valley at 3.38\u202fkm<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Construction Status<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Trains are expected to run between <strong>Rewa and Sidhi<\/strong> by <strong>March 2025<\/strong>, with infrastructure works advancing toward Rampur Naikin.<\/li>\n<li>The initial segment from <strong>Rewa to Govindgarh<\/strong> is nearly complete and slated for inspection in early 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Administrative Push &amp; Land Acquisition<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla has ordered expedited land acquisition\u2014mandating resolution of all pending issues and compensation within one week.<\/li>\n<li>As of May 2025, <strong>\u20b95 crore<\/strong> was disbursed for 1,038 landowners in the Rewa\u2013Govindgarh stretch.
