While sending the nomination details of the nominated officers like their designation, place of posting and contact number may also please be advised so that the nominated officers can be contacted.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Sometimes due to unavoidable reasons the courses mentioned in the Calendar have to be re\u2010scheduled\/cancelled; therefore, \u00a0nominated \u00a0officers \u00a0should\u00a0 be advised \u00a0to check the NAIR website a week before starting date of the course to ascertain the status of the courses which they were going to attend.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>Participants arriving late or in excess of allotted seats or of inadequate seniority may be sent back.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Generally JAG and above officers are given single occupancy rooms. These reports\u00a0\u00a0 have \u00a0helped \u00a0Indian \u00a0Railways\u00a0 \u00a0in \u00a0harnessing\u00a0 \u00a0experience\u2010backed\u00a0 \u00a0knowledge\u00a0 \u00a0for improving productivity of various assets. The participants can support our efforts by bringing field problems or critical issues with related data for further in depth study.<\/p>\n<p>Best Projects are awarded the MR\u2019s medal and a Cash Award of Rs. 5000\/\u2010 and Rs. 3000\/\u2010 for each Member \u00a0of the project\u00a0 group\u00a0 in MDP and BFP respectively. \u00a0Synopsis \u00a0of all the Projects and full reports of the projects for the year 2001 onwards can be viewed at http:\/\/10.140.2.6<\/p>\n<p><strong>AMP<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AMP \u00a0Participants \u00a0shall \u00a0be \u00a0required \u00a0to\u00a0 make \u00a0theme \u00a0presentations \u00a0in \u00a0groups \u00a0on \u00a0topics provided to them. These themes shall be pursued further during their duration of training at ICLIF\/INSEAD as well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Information about the courses<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>AFP (Group \u2018A\u2019 Foundation Programme)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0 \u00a0Group\u00a0 \u00a0\u2018A\u2019\u00a0\u00a0 Foundation\u00a0 \u00a0Programme\u00a0 \u00a0is\u00a0\u00a0 conducted\u00a0 \u00a0for\u00a0 \u00a0newly\u00a0 \u00a0recruited\u00a0 \u00a0Group\u00a0 \u00a0\u2018A\u2019 probationary officers of different Railway Services. The objective is to familiarize the probationary\u00a0 officers at the beginning of their career with the system of railway working, developing team working, build camaraderie and instill in a sense of discipline, dedication and pride. The extensive \u00a0training programme \u00a0includes classroom \u00a0lectures,\u00a0 field visits and extra curricular activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>AIP (Group \u2018A\u2019 Induction Programme)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Group \u2018A\u2019 Induction Programme is conducted towards the end of probation period i.e. before joining the working post. The objective of this course is to weave together various modules \u00a0of \u00a0training \u00a0undergone \u00a0by \u00a0them \u00a0and \u00a0to\u00a0 equip \u00a0them \u00a0with \u00a0relevant \u00a0skills \u00a0and knowledge \u00a0for taking up a working post. The pedagogy includes classroom\u00a0 sessions, field visits, mock drills an extra curricular activities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>BFP (Group \u2018B\u2019 Foundation Programme)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This course is meant for Group \u2018B\u2019 officers immediately on promotion from Group \u2018C\u2019. The course \u00a0objective \u00a0is to give bird\u2019s eye view of the variety\u00a0 of activities \u00a0and function \u00a0of all departments, developing team working, ethos, understanding basic management concepts etc. The course is not meant for imparting in\u2010depth knowledge into various functional areas, for which various function related courses are available.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MD<\/strong><strong>P (Management Development Programme)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is a course for officers who are due for promotion to Junior Administrative Grade. The course\u00a0 \u00a0objective\u00a0 \u00a0is\u00a0 \u00a0to\u00a0 \u00a0impart\u00a0 \u00a0managerial\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 perspective\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0and\u00a0 \u00a0effectiveness\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0involving coordination and team approach for taking up role of branch officers. It is meant to impart insight into management of technology, managerial behavioural and competencies needed for handling Tenders &amp; Contracts, DAR etc. The course is not meant for imparting in\u2010depth knowledge into various functional areas, for which various function related courses are available.<\/p>\n<p><strong>AMP (Advanced Management Programme)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This course is for the officers who are due for promotion to Senior Administrative\u00a0 Grade. Currently it has 4 weeks module out of which 2 weeks training is at NAIR\/BRC and one week at INSEAD\/Singapore\u00a0 as also one week at ICLIF\/Malaysia. The course objective is to impart managerial perspective of policy making, effectiveness involving coordination and team working and understanding of challenges faced by Indian Railways.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seminars\/Workshop<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The slots for Seminars\/Workshop have been identified in Calendar.
