Sub: Revision of Duty List of Ticket Checking Staff.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The list, highlighting some of the important duties\/responsibilities of various categories of the ticket checking staff such as Train Superintendent, Conductor and TTEs were issued vide this. office letter No. 98\/TG-V\/12\/1 dated 11.09.1998. Subsequently, ticket checking staff has been entrusted with number of new sets of duties e.g. taking action against the persons smoking in public place, intimating about the carrying of inflammable and dangerous\/prohibited goods, announcement by Train Superintendent in trains welcoming the passengers on board etc.<\/p>\n

2. In view of the above, a modified consolidated duty list, adding the new sets of duties in the duties already stipulated in Board\u2019s letter No. 98\/TG-V\/12\/1 dated 11.09.1998 with slight modification in some of them, is enclosed. These revised duty lists may be brought to the notice of all concerned.<\/p>\n
