DIVERSION OF BHUBANESWAR-NEW DELHI-BHUBANESWAR SPECIAL TRAINS DUE TO CYCLONE \u201cAMPHAN\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

In view of cyclone \u201cAMPHAN\u201d which is likely to hit West Bengal and Odisha, the following special trains will be diverted:<\/strong><\/p>\n

02823 Bhubaneswar \u2013 New Delhi Special Train scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar on 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd May, 2025 will be diverted to run via Bhubaneswar-Angul-Sambalpur City-Jharsuguda-Rourkela-Tatanagar instead of Bhubaneswar- Bhadrak-Balasore-Hijli- Tatanagar.<\/p>\n

Similarly, 02824 New Delhi- Bhubaneswar Special Train leaving New Delhi on 18th, 19th, 20th and 21st May, 2025 will be diverted to run via Tatanagar-Rourkela-Jharsuguda- Sambalpur City- Angul-Bhubaneswar instead of Tatanagar-Hijli-Balasore-Bhadrak- Bhubaneswar.3<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Here are the diversion details for Special Trains 02823 (Bhubaneswar \u2192 New Delhi)<\/strong> and 02824 (New Delhi \u2192 Bhubaneswar)<\/strong>, implemented due to Cyclone Amphan<\/em> in May 2025:<\/p>\n

\ud83d\ude86 Train No. 02823 \u2013 Bhubaneswar to New Delhi<\/h2>\n

The train originally ran via Bhadrakh \u2192 Balasore \u2192 Hijli \u2192 Tatanagar. But on 19, 20, 21 & 22 May 2025<\/strong>, it was diverted to a new route:
\nBhubaneswar \u2192 Angul \u2192 Sambalpur City \u2192 Jharsuguda \u2192 Rourkela \u2192 Tatanagar \u2192 onwards to New Delhi<\/strong>, bypassing the coastal stations Bhadrakh, Balasore, and Hijli<\/p>\n

Similarly, the return service from New Delhi on 18\u201321 May 2025<\/strong> was rerouted. Instead of going via Tatanagar \u2192 Hijli \u2192 Balasore \u2192 Bhadrakh, it ran via:
\nNew Delhi \u2192 Kanpur \u2192 onwards to Tatanagar \u2192 Rourkela \u2192 Jharsuguda \u2192 Sambalpur City \u2192 Angul \u2192 Bhubaneswar<\/strong><\/p>\n
