Sub:\u00a0Clarification on Corrigendum to Commercial Circular No. 11 of 2025- dt.19.04.2025 \u2013 Updation of Reservation \/ Cancellation Requisition form<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Instructions were issued to Zonal Railways vide this office letter of even number dated 19.04.2025 (Corrigendum to Commercial Circular No. 11. of 2025) forwarding therewith a copy of updated Reservation \/ Cancellation Requisition form after incorporating the columns for exercising options for choosing \u2018Vikalp\u2019 scheme and for indicating \u2018Aadhaar\u2019 number.<\/p>\n

2. It is clarified that indicating Aadhar number in the requisition form is optional Accordingly modifications have been made in the reservation \/ cancellation requisition form, a copy of which is enclosed. Necessary action may be taken accordingly under intimation to all concerned,<\/p>\n

  • The same form<\/strong> is used for both reservation and cancellation of PRS-counter tickets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    • *Commercial Circular No.\u202f11\/2025 (Corrigendum issued 30 May 2025)<\/strong> introduced updates to incorporate: – TThe VIKALP scheme<\/strong> option (alternate train choice if waitlisted) – OOption to fill Aadhaar number<\/strong> (optional, not mandatory)<\/li>\n
    • TThis means the current version of the form includes tick boxes for: – WWhether the passenger opts into the VIKALP scheme – AAadhaar number field (now optional) – GGender selection: Male \/ Female \/ Transgender (T)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      TyTypical fields include:1. TrTrain No. & Name, Date of Journey, Class, Number of Seats\/Berths. **Boarding Station<\/strong>, Reservation Up To, Routing. UpUp to six passenger entries<\/strong>, with columns for: – NaName, Age, Gender (M\/F\/T), Concession – BeBerth preference (lower\/upper) – VeVeg\/Non-Veg meal choice (if Rajdhani\/Shatabdi) – OpOption to tick VIKALP scheme and Aadhaar number entry
      \n(India Customer Care, specialtrains.co.in)4. OnOnward\/Return journey details (if any). ApApplicant\u2019s personal info: name, address, contact number. SiSignature of applicant, and office use<\/strong> fields like PNR, amount collected, clerk initials<\/p>\n
