Introduction of new trains<\/strong>\u00a0 \u2013\u00a0Eastern Railway<\/strong><\/p>\n

Two\u00a0DEMU<\/strong>\u00a0Passenger trains have been introduced between\u00a0Azimganj and Nimtita<\/strong>\u00a05 days a week. Three pairs of local trains \u2013\u00a0Tarakeswer-Arambagh, Bandel-Katwa and Ranaghat-Gede<\/strong>\u00a0have been newly introduced o\u00adn passenger demand utilizing lie over of EMU rakes.<\/p>\n

Four\u00a0EMU<\/strong>\u00a0services have been introduced between\u00a0Sonarpur \u2013 Mathurapur Road, Mathurapur Road \u2013 Baruipur, Baruipur \u2013 Diamond Harbour and Diamond Harbour- Sonarpur<\/strong>.Similarly, 2 local trains presently running as special services between\u00a0Ranaghat-Bongaon and Sealdah-Sonarpur<\/strong>\u00a0have been introduced o\u00adn a regular measure.<\/p>\n

Extension of 2 pairs of\u00a0Howrah-Singur and Howrah-Haripal upto Tarakeswar<\/strong>\u00a0has also been made permanent.<\/p>\n
