Shri G. C .Agrawal, General Manager of Western Rly, released the new Western Zone Time Table in an event at W.Rly\u2019s Headquarters office, Churchgate o\u00adn Tuesday, 29th Sept, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>This new Western Zone Time Table has been published by Western Railway and comprises of the \u00a0Main Line train time table and information pertaining to four zones \u2013 Western, Central, North West &amp; West Central Railway. o\u00adn this occasion, Shri Agrawal briefed the salient features and new initiatives incorporated in the new time table and various o\u00adngoing and futuristic rail projects. He also interacted o\u00adn several important rail related issues. Shri A.K. Shrivastava-Chief Operations Manager; Shri C.P. Sharma-Chief Commercial Manager; Shri Anirudh Jain-Chief Administrative Officer (Construction); Shri Udai Shukla-Chief Security Commissioner of Western Railway; Shri Shailendra Kumar-Divisional Railway Manager of Mumbai Central Division and other senior railway officers were also present o\u00adn this occasion.<\/p>\n<p>W.Rly, in its attempt to speed up its trains for a convenient and comfortable journey has hauled up its services, so that everyone can enjoy the good tidings of the festive season. Some of the salient features for enhancing the travel experience are highlighted below. To meet the needs of passengers and provide better convenience, certain changes have been made to the long distance trains in the Time Table coming into effect from 1st October, 2015. These changes are as follows:<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>SPEEDING UP OF MAIN LINE TRAINS<\/u><\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><u>A total of 42 trains have been speeded up over WR with the time frame ranging from 2.35 hours to 10 minutes<\/u><\/strong>. Special noteworthy to mention are the following premier trains:<\/li>\n<li><strong>12951 Mumbai Central \u2013 New Delhi Rajdhani Express<\/strong>speeded up by\u00a0<strong>25 minutes<\/strong>, as it will depart at 17.00 hrs instead of 16.35 hrs ex. Mumbai Central.<\/li>\n<li><strong>12952 New Delhi \u2013 Mumbai Central Rajdhani Express<\/strong>speeded up by\u00a0<strong>20 minutes<\/strong>, as it will depart ex. New Delhi at its regular time of 16.25 hrs and will reach Mumbai Central at 08.15 hrs instead of 08.35 hrs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>12954 H. Nizamuddin \u2013 Mumbai Central A. K. Rajdhani Express<\/strong>speeded up by\u00a0<strong>15 minutes<\/strong>, as it will depart ex. H. Nizamuddin at its regular time of 16.50 hrs and will reach Mumbai Central at 09.45 hrs instead of 10.00 hrs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>12009 Mumbai Central \u2013 Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express<\/strong>speeded up by\u00a0<strong>25 minutes<\/strong>, as it will depart ex. Mumbai Central at its regular time of 06.25 hrs and will reach Ahmedabad at 12.45 hrs instead of 13.10 hrs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>12010 Ahmedabad \u2013 Mumbai Central Shatabdi Express<\/strong>speeded up by\u00a0<strong>25 minutes<\/strong>, as it will depart at 14.40 hrs instead of 14.30 hrs ex. Ahmedabad and will reach Mumbai Central at 21.20 hrs instead of 21.35 hrs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>12971 Bandra Terminus \u2013 Bhavnagar Express<\/strong>speeded up by\u00a0<strong>30 minutes<\/strong>, as it will depart ex. Its train number will also change from 19312 Indore \u2013 Pune Express to\u00a0<strong>22944 Indore \u2013 Pune Superfast Express w.e.f \u00a06th January, 2016<\/strong>. Similarly, in return direction its train number will change from 19311 Pune \u2013 Indore Express to\u00a0<strong>22943 Pune \u2013 Indore Superfast Express w.e.f 7th January, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>REVISION OF TIMINGS TO MEET THE DEMAND OF EARLY ARRIVAL AT DESTINATION STATIONS:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The timings of<strong>\u00a012971 \/ 12972 Bandra (T) \u2013 Bhavnagar \u2013 Bandra (T) Express<\/strong>\u00a0has been revised to meet the demand of early arrival at\u00a0<strong>Bhavnagar<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Bandra Terminus. 12971\u00a0<\/strong>will arrive\u00a0<strong>Bhavnagar<\/strong>at 10.35 hrs instead of 11.05 hrs and o\u00adn return side,\u00a0<strong>12972<\/strong>\u00a0will arrive\u00a0<strong>Bandra Terminus\u00a0<\/strong>at 08.40 hrs instead of 10.20 hrs.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>COMMERCIAL HALTS TO DURONTO EXPRESS TRAINS:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Additional Commercial stoppages have been provided to Duronto Express trains over various stations of WR for the convenience of passengers, with no changes in its original timings. Details regarding the stoppages are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>22209 Mumbai Central \u2013 New Delhi AC Duronto Express\u00a0<\/strong>leaving Mumbai Central from 01.01.2025 o\u00adnwards will halt at<strong>Vadodara, Ratlam &amp;\u00a0<\/strong>Kota<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>22210 New Delhi \u2013 Mumbai Central AC Duronto Express\u00a0<\/strong>leaving New Delhi from 02.01.2025 o\u00adnwards will halt atKota<strong>, Ratlam &amp; Vadodara.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>12227 Mumbai Central \u2013 Indore AC Duronto Express\u00a0<\/strong>leaving Mumbai Central from 31.12.2025 o\u00adnwards will halt at<strong>Vadodara, Ratlam &amp; Ujjain.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>12228 Indore \u2013 Mumbai Central AC Duronto Express\u00a0<\/strong>leaving Indore from 01.01.2025 o\u00adnwards will halt at<strong>Ujjain, Ratlam &amp;Vadodara.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>12239 Mumbai Central \u2013 Jaipur AC Duronto Express\u00a0<\/strong>leaving Mumbai Central from 03.01.2025 o\u00adnwards will halt at<strong>Vadodara, Ratlam &amp; Sawai Madhopur.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>12240 Jaipur \u2013 Mumbai Central AC Duronto Express<\/strong>leaving Jaipur from 05.01.2025 o\u00adnwards will halt at <strong>Sawai Madhopur, Ratlam &amp;Vadodara.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>12263 Pune \u2013 Hazrat Nizamuddin AC Duronto Express\u00a0<\/strong>(Via Vasai Road) leaving Pune from 01.01.2025 o\u00adnwards will halt at Lonavala, <strong>Vasai Road, Vadodara, Ratlam<\/strong>and Kota.<\/li>\n<li><strong>12264 Hazrat Nizamuddin \u2013 Pune AC Duronto Express<\/strong>(Via Vasai Road) leaving<strong>Hazrat Nizamuddin \u00a0<\/strong>from 04.01.2025 o\u00adnwards will halt Kota, <strong>Ratlam, Vadodara, Vasai Road<\/strong>\u00a0and Lonavala.<\/li>\n<li><strong>12283 Eranakulam Jn \u2013 \u00a0Hazrat Nizamuddin Duronto Express<\/strong>leaving Eranakulam Jn from 05.01.2025 o\u00adnwards will halt Panvel, <strong>Vadodara, Ratlam<\/strong>and Kota.<\/li>\n<li><strong>12284 Hazrat Nizamuddin \u2013 Eranakulam Jn Duronto Express<\/strong>leaving Hazrat Nizamuddin from 02.01.2025 o\u00adnwards will halt Kota, <strong>Ratlam, Vadodara<\/strong>and Panvel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>SPEEDING UP OF TRAINS UPTO 130 KMPH:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>12951 \/ 12952 New Delhi \u2013 Mumbai Central Rajdhani Express, 12953 \/12954 A. K. Rajdhani Express, 12009 \/ 12010 Ahmedabad \u2013 Mumbai Central Shatabdi Express will run at 130 kmph o\u00adn Virar \u2013 Godhra &amp; Virar \u2013 Ahmedabad sections from 120 kmph, due to improvement in infrastructure. This will help in saving of time by about 20-25 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>INTRODUCTION OF NEW TRAIN:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>19063 Udhna \u2013 Danapur Bi \u2013 Weekly Express introduced w.e.f 25.08.2015 which departs\u00a0Udhna\u00a0at 7.20 hrs o\u00adn\u00a0every Tuesday &amp; Saturday and reaches Danapur at 13.35 hrs. the next day. In Up direction, 19064 Danapur \u2013 Udhna Bi \u2013 Weekly Express departs Danapur at 16.40 hrs o\u00adn every Wednesday &amp; Sunday and arrives Udhna at 23.40 hrs. the next day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>THE TIMINGS OF PASSENGER TRAINS WHICH ARE EXTENDED:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The timings of the following passenger trains which are extended further \u00a0have also been included in the new time \u2013 table:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Ratlam \u2013 Fatehabad Chandrawati Ganj Jn.
