\nAfter Linking \u2014 What Changes \/ Benefits<\/h2>\n\n- \n
From 1 July 2025<\/strong> (for Tatkal) and from 1 October 2025<\/strong> (for general reserved tickets, during first 15 minutes of booking window) onwards, Aadhaar-authenticated IRCTC accounts will be mandatory for booking online.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n- \n
You may be allowed to book more tickets per month via your account compared to before.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

It also helps with identity verification for concessions (senior citizens, Divyang, etc.) and reduces the chance of misuse\/fraud.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Name or date of birth mismatch between your Aadhaar and IRCTC profile \u2192 fix your IRCTC profile name details first.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
