However, Southern Railway did run Chennai Egmore\u2013Kanyakumari<\/strong> specials (e.g. Train Nos. 06053\/06054) that also halted at Tirunelveli<\/strong> en route to Kanyakumari . Passengers traveling between Egmore and Tirunelveli could board these services at Tirunelveli, but there wasn\u2019t a standalone Egmore\u2013Tirunelveli special dedicated to Republic Day.<\/p>\n
