Besides, 03 regular local trains in the section will be extended during the mela period.<\/p>\n<p>Among 12 EMU Mela special, 03 trains will leave from Sealdah South, 02 trains from Kolkata station, 05 trains from Namkhana , 01 train from Lakshmikantapur and 01 train from Kakdwip.<\/p>\n<p>These Mela Special trains will leave\u00a0<strong>Sealdah South<\/strong>\u00a0at 6.15 hrs., 14.40 hrs., 16.24 hrs., from Kolkata station at 7.35 hrs. &amp; 21.30 hrs and in return direction from\u00a0<strong>Namkhana<\/strong>\u00a0at 9.10 hrs, 11.18 hrs, 18.35 hrs, 19.05 hrs &amp; 02.05 hrs, from Kakdwip at 14.40 hrs and from Lakshmikantapur at 23.15 hrs.<\/p>\n<p>On 14.01.2021 , the<strong>\u00a0Kolkata-Namkhana Down Galloping<\/strong>\u00a0EMU special leaving Kolkata at 07:35 hrs will reschedule and leave from Sealdah (South) at 08:45 hrs.<\/p>\n<p>On 17.01.2021 (Sunday), EMU trains in\u00a0<strong>Lakshmikantapur-Namkhana- Lakshmikantapur<\/strong>\u00a0section will run as weekdays service.<\/p>\n<p>The Galloping Mela Special trains will stop at\u00a0<strong>Ballygunj, Sonarpur, Baruipur, Lakshmikantapur, Nischindapur &amp; Kakdwip<\/strong>\u00a0stations.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For Holy bath in the river Ganges on the occasion of \u201cMakar Sankranti\u201d, morning services of Circular Railway trains will be controlled on 14.1.2021 (Thursday).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Consequently, the following arrangements in train running have been made:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Four pairs of Circular Railway EMU locals will be short terminated at \/ originated from\u00a0<strong>Tala station.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Two pairs will be diverted to terminate at \/ originate from\u00a0<strong>Sealdah (North)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Four trains will be diverted via\u00a0<strong>Kankurgachi \u2013 Ballygunge route.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>One pair will be diverted to terminate at \/ originate from<strong>\u00a0Ballygunge.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>One pair Circular Railway local short terminate at \/ originated from Ballygunge and diverted via\u00a0<strong>Ballygunge-Kankurgachi.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>One pair Circular Railway local will remain cancelled on that day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>TEMPORARY WITHDRAWAL OF STOPPAGE OF EMU LOCALS AT KASHINAGAR FLAG STATIon FOR THE SAFETY OF GANGASAGAR MELA PILGRIMS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a part of safety measure for the pilgrims of Gangasagar Mela-2021, it has been decided to withdraw the scheduled stoppages of all Up and Down EMU services at Kashinagar Flag station on<strong>\u00a0Lakshmikantapur-Namkhana<\/strong>\u00a0section from<strong>\u00a012.01.2021 to 17.01.2021,<\/strong>\u00a0as a temporary measure.<\/p>\n<p>Inconvenience likely to be caused is deeply regretted.<\/p>\n<p>Ganga Sagar Mela, also known as Ganga Sagar Yatra or Ganga Snan, is the annual gathering of Hindu pilgrims to take holy dip in River Ganga before She merges in the Bay of Bengal Sea during Makar Sankranti at Sagar Island or Sagardwip in West Bengal, India.
