Group of words are used together in a specific manner to write or speak a sentence. Every single word in a sentence is given a name i.e. Noun, Pronoun, Verb, Adjective etc. To understand the sequence of words so that the sentence delivers the correct message these words are categorized in 8 categories, which are called the “Parts of Speech<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the position and function of the words in the sentence, they are divided into eight parts, which is known as the Parts of Speech.  These are: 1. Noun (noun), 2. Pronoun (pronoun), 3. Adjective (adjective), 4. Verb (verb), 5. Adverb (verb-adjective), 6. Preposition (relative inflexible), 7.  Conjunction (conjunctive), 8. Interjection (exclamation).  It is necessary to have a good knowledge of Parts of Speech for proper knowledge of English language, so continuous practice is necessary.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
